/ frequently asked questions
Where is Signadot hosted?
The Signadot operator runs securely in your Kubernetes cluster. The Signadot Dashboard and Preview Service are hosted in our cloud which runs in AWS.
Who is counted as an User for billing?
An user is one who creates or edits Sandboxes during the month. If Signadot is used in system mode, like in CI pipelines, active users are determined by Pull/Merge requests that lead to Sandbox creation. Users only viewing Previews are not counted for billing purposes.
How does Signadot pricing work?
Signadot pricing is based on users who create or edit Sandboxes. Read only users are not included in the pricing calculations.
How do I pay?
For the Business Plan you can pay by credit card. Please contact us for payment options for the Enterprise plan.
What are resource plugins?
Resource plugins are user-provided scripts that run at certain Sandbox stages. They are used to spin up entities like Databases or other cloud resources linked to the Sandbox lifecycle.
What is a Sandbox?
A Sandbox is a logical abstraction that comprises workloads and ephemeral resources. The workloads typically represent "under-test" versions of microservices that are being developed or tested.
Do you offer a free trial?
Yes! We offer a 30 day free trial of the Business plan. The Starter plan is free forever.
What security standards does Signadot follow?
We take security very seriously and follow the best practices around privacy and security. Signadot is SOC 2 Type 2 certified. All data at rest is encrypted and TLS used for network communication.
